Amazing help from the lady in Vintages section to suggest an amazing bottle of French Chardonnay, half of which has been finished this evening by myself. Creamy, buttery, balanced oak and a dry finish - merci beaucoup. How could life be better in Richmond Hell. I mean Hill. Oh be quiet, baby #2 isn't due until July 10th.
but not surprising because it was not even in the online LCBO store locator!

OK I took my 5 year old son here to check out the marketing on the weekend. When we were sitting at our table, a MOUSE scurried from the west side wall and under his chair. I got up, looked under and I could see there was a small space under the east side window's heater that ran the whole way down the wall. No, I didn't tell any of the baristas or the manager, I was too curious to get their take on the apparent change to the Starbuck's logo, taking out the words "Starbucks", "Coffee" and the green circle. Perhaps a PR ploy. Next time I will chase the mouse around the store until I get kicked out and I will yell at the top of my voice "Everybody run! Drop your skinny lattes, there's a mouse in the house and the coffee beans are burnt! Women, children and strollers first!"

I have to give this East York McDonald's a full five stars because the RCC Waterproofing video testimonial in it is awesome. (OK Spencer thinks so too, trying to keep him entertained with mom vacationing down south lol)

Microsoft bought a company called Fuse Labs and I tried out the beta version of Montage. Basic, powerful features built in, so I grabbed a couple of domains I own to test it out, www.torontocoffee.ca and www.3-DMovies.ca, and in a few minutes, voila!, a socially relevant website that updates itself! SO COOL! Apparently they are going to add a host of other features like adwords accounts and more. It's amazing how adding in relevant RSS Feeds, adjoining with live Twitter based on keywords you decide as well as the ability to plug into YouTube and Vimeo can be so powerful. So no need to build a social hub, just work off the massive power of Twitter/Facebook/YouTube/etc. and let the masses propagate the content that they want to see!
