Therefore, it was natural that I'd want to repeat the experience when I recently needed additional flooring work to be done at the house. The owner came out, did the measurements and came back with a quote. Just of curiosity, I decided to get a couple of competing quotes although my decision to go with Alliance was already made. Well, one quote was lower; however, closer examination revealed that the competitor quoted for less in terms of wood quality ...the devil is in the details. Another competitor's quote was slightly more but did not provide anything in addition. So, I'm patting myself on the back for going with Alliance. They came exactly as agreed, on time. The installers were professional and friendly. The work was completed to my full satisfaction, with only one exception. I addressed that exception (staining of the riser on a step). They attended to it immediately, again to my full satisfaction. On a rating of 0-9 with 0 being a "disaster" and 9 being "perfect", I have to give Alliance a 9/9. Well done. I'm quite pleased and satisfied. I would highly recommend Alliance Floor Source to anyone who's looking for a high class job, done on time and at a reasonable price.
